A new workshop under construction for seamstresses

A new group of seamstresses began their training on 8 September, fewer in number than previous groups as local job opportunities are becoming scarce. To address this, A-Bato is planning to build a workshop where seamstresses can come to work as a cooperative and sell their products in various centres and museums in the city of Kigali and beyond.

Another new feature is that the seamstress training is supplemented by English lessons.
