A major success for the robotics team

The Malaika robotics team distinguished itself at the 2025–2026 FIRST LEGO League, an international competition that invites young people to design, build, and program robots to tackle challenges while developing their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Competing under the theme “Submerged”—focused on exploring underwater environments—the team took first place in Lubumbashi and second place at the national level, an achievement that recognizes their hard work, ingenuity, and perseverance.

For Féliciane, this adventure was a tremendous learning experience: “I developed my creative thinking and discovered the true power of teamwork. To all girls and women, I want to say that technology and robotics are for us, too. They enable us to innovate, meet challenges, and gain confidence in our abilities. Robotics is not just for boys; it is for anyone who wishes to imagine, build, and lead with confidence.”
